I have absolutely atrocious handwriting, but I do a lot of it. Might as well try to enjoy the experience, eh? Orders arrived from JetPens, Duluth Trading Co, and I found a few things locally.

On the bottom is my new Duluth Trading Company padfolio. I wanted to “trade up” from one I’ve been using since I got it as a freebie at a conference. Initial impressions: Pricey, but very well made. Pad is a higher end house brand from Staples.

Writing instruments, left hand side: On the bottom is a Uni Kuru Toga Roulette 0.5mm pencil (still love mechanicals). Left side are a pair of Pilot Hi Tec C 0.5mm’s and a Pilot Varsity fountain pen (never played with one before). Right side are a pair of 0.5mm Zebra Sarasa Clips and a pair of Pilot V5 RT Precise pens (again, 0.5mm).

Paper and pen, right hand side: Went into a local silkscreen shirt/culture shop and found Field Notes. Have not had them before, so I got two packs with dot ruling. Went into another shop and found they had Retro 51 pens marked down under $20. So there’s one of those, too…
