A friend of mine bought a lathe a while back and turned this pen as a gift to me. Its nice and heavy and has a magnetic cap. Its fantastic for writing without the cap on the tail end, its a bit too heavy with the cap stowed there.

My refill question is it has a Schneider Topball 850 in it. I don’t care for the way that it writes. I see that most rollerball refills will fit and I believe I can convert it to a fountain pen just by removing the spring and buying a kit.

Can anyone recommend a good fountain pen kit that is typically swapable in a rollerball body?
