Thanks to a back injury, I can’t carry my beloved shoulder bag anymore. I can’t really carry lopsided loads at all, so swinging a backpack around all the time isn’t great either.
Here’s the thing. I HATE pockets.
I hate them.
They’re slow. They’re cumbersome. They’re hot. They’re uncomfortable.
It’s been fifteen years since I’ve used pants pockets (other than jeans’ coin pockets for ChapStick and a very small knife) for longer than 2-3 minutes at a time or for anything bigger than a couple quartered bills for tips.
The only thing that’s comfortable now is my ccw.
How do I make this work without resorting to a bat belt?
I’ve downsized everything I can.
I haven’t even been carrying my knife today. And I’ve needed it like 5 times. It’s a
to get it out of a backpack every few hours, but it’s worse to always have it jabbing me in the side.
Everything that seems like it’d work looks stupid or won’t hold something important. And if I put too many things on my belt, I’ll probably end up exposing my ccw getting to something simple like my phone or money.
So…any ideas?
