There is the “So What Sunglasses Do You Wear?” thread, which is cool.
I don’t recall anyone describing specifically why, however. That’s what I’m interested in.
For as long as I’ve been wearing sunglasses, I’ve always gone with a dark shade. It just seemed right for sunglasses. Then, for Xmas a couple years ago, my girlfriend took me to the Oakley factory store. It was there she insisted I try these more rose-ish colored lenses. (I don’t recall Oakley’s name for this shade.)

I enjoy this shade of lens. Colors seem to stand out more vividly and my environment doesn’t seem a dreary gray. I drive a lot, so with more light getting to my eyes, the drive seems more pleasant, I guess is one way to describe it. And of course, polarized is a must-have when driving in the rainy Pacific North West.
So, what are others’ thoughts on shade and style?
Mods, if I’m a dimwit and I just need to re-read the other thread, I’ll take my slap on the wrist.
