Don’t know where I could share this. So I put it here.
There have been times I wanted to take some dimensions but didn’t have a tape measure at hand. I have several of those roll up tape measures. Ranging from 1 meter to 15 meter. But just don’t carry one daily. How handy it would be to have something on hand next time.
Last Saturday I went to that Swedish furniture store with the grilfriend. As usual I grabbed one of those paper tape measures. ‘What do you need that for?’… ‘Duhhh, to measure things!’… ‘Yeah right and when we get home it will end in the trash as always!’, was her reply.
Got me thinking how to carry it. How simple can it be? Why didn’t I think of this before? Maybe to proof the gf she was wrong..?

Just folded it over several times and put it in the back of my notebook… Simple, isn’t it?
BTW: Noticed for the first time that next to milimeters also inches are on the tape. Handy with lot of dimensions on the forum given in inches.
So please tell me who carries a tape measure (what kind) and how. Shouldn’t be to bulky as I find those roll up things to be. You may have a beter solution for me.
