Ok…what is it with Leatherman…why do they refuse to put a decent pair of scissors in the models that I want the most???

Examples…the Rebar, the tool layout is all but perfect except for the lack of scissors. It has an awesome plier head with removable cutters, a proper phillips screwdriver and all the other things I want but no scissors. I would gladly trade the serrated blade for some scissors. The Surge is the same way, except I don’t like the bit drivers, but still there’s no scissors. Then, on the full size models they DO give scissors, they use those wimpy little snips…while on the smaller tools like the Juice XE6, they use a larger/beefier pair of scissors that are good for more than trimming a loose thread. Why the heck don’t they just replace one of the knife blades for the full size XE6 style scissors??

If I didn’t have to buy 2 tools and figure out how to mod it, I’d just do it myself. I just don’t see what their logic is in how they decide tool layout.
