I really like the horizontal carry option of my Leatherman Wave nylon holster. I carry the Wave more than my other Multi’s mainly because I can carry it horizontal. It just kind of disappears and I sometimes forget I am carrying it when worn horizontally on my belt.

I would like to have horizontal holsters for my Vic X, Vic Spirit and SOG Paratool as well. There seems to be a real lack of horizontal holsters out there; at least I haven’t found any really good ones. I know one can buy ‘generic’ holsters, but I really want something that fits, is durable and looks sharp as well.

I have seen the Victorinox ‘rotating’ holsters, but I prefer a holster that slides over the belt and pulls the tool in very close to the body. I would especially like to have a holster like that for my Vic Spriit. Also the Leatherman Wave holster seems to be wearing out rather quickly and I can tell it will have to be replaced rather soon.

Is there anyone out there that makes good quality, custom MultiTool holsters that you guys know of? Or is there some place online that sellls this type of mass produced holster that I don’t know about?
