For the past 5 years or more I have wanted to include this bit set in my EDC.
I carried it in a coat pocket for a while, which led to one of two identical sets being stolen at work. Just to look at this set, it should be easy to see why making this part of my EDC is not easy. Leatherman has the right idea with their bit cards, but those bits are flat and don’t include security bits, as far as I know. I’ve seen that some of you include a 7 piece strip in your Skinth, but I have a problem with 7 bits. Torx alone is at least 10 sizes. This bit strip would be a good start:
This would give me a good range of TR Torx bits. I would cut off the large part on the end, and the bit holder slot could hold the Leatherman bit adaptor a few of you have told me about (I need to find one – or two).
So this still doesn’t cover the other bit types, like TR hex bits. You never know when you might need to take apart a phone booth.
