Haven’t seen that anyone else has mentioned this issue. Haven’t discovered why it’s happening, so no fix.

When including member-tag in a post (e.g. username), the published reply invariably drops some characters from the member’s username. A single edit to add the missing characters is always successful. Happens consistently. Started about a month ago.

I’m concluding it’s not my two device(s) (laptops).

Older laptop used to access forum for couple of years; never an issue until month ago. Win 7. Firefox 40.0.3. No config changes; no new software installed, except routine, periodic software updates: Windows, Firefox, Adobe Reader, Java, Flash Player etc.

New laptop, bought month ago. Win 10. Firefox 41.0.1. Thought for sure I’d be rid of the problem once started using this fresh laptop. Nope. Same issue.

A minor irritant, but still …
