So…I am looking for a solution to a problem I already had.

My EDC bag was stolen from my car almost a year ago, now I am trying to figure out how to track my bag(s) in the event they are stolen or misplaced.

The car bag will always be plugged into DC power in the vehicle, which will charge the GPS unit as well as the USB battery backup in the bag, so when it needs to come with me, it will be at a full charge.

Right now I just need suggestions on the hardware…what can I use to track the bag online…I suppose whatever it is, it will need a SIM card and GSM coverage for data…
