The Ariat brand started out with cowboy boots, and moved on to other sundries, notably blue jeans. I’ve found them at Boot Barn, Sheplers, any of the “cowboy” outfitters.
They’ve got a leg up on the competition, in my book, with one great feature… a huge change pocket.
Maybe someone on the design team thought it would be useful to make a change pocket big enough for an iPhone. They were right.
But it really comes in handy for discreetly carrying a folding knife without showing a clip. Kind of puts the pocket back in pocket knife, no?
It can swallow up a good size Spydie (Southard, Chokwe, Native…), a full-size Seb, or virtually any traditional folder. Even a 110 disappears in it.
So… you don’t want to show a clip or a sheath? Don’t.
