Dunno if any of you are watching Media Lab (search youtube), I have really been enjoying it. The latest episode is called SPEAR System and this isn’t normally my thing, but I couldn’t help notice the pants worn by the guy who helps out on the show (not Dom) – they are sort of a navy color or maybe dark gray, something. There are a few shots at the 5:30 mark or so where you can see a label but I can’t make them out. I just don’t know anything about these types of pants so maybe it’s obvious. Dom is wearing some that are sort of interesting too. They appear to have a few more pockets, maybe some utilitarian functions. I have a pair of Wrangler rip-stop cargos that I like, but they have the standard cargo pockets way down on the thigh that I have never found any use for and lately I’ve been wondering if there is something out there with a little more utility but not “tactical” …. regular lightweight summer pants with a couple more pockets and room to move around in would be nice. I’m sure the one’s in the Media Lab episode are expensive but, I was just curious. Feel free to discuss.
