Hi guys, after 4 years the time has come to get a new phone, since my oldie can not hang on to the pace of the modern apps and most my of newer needs. Since I am an EDC guy like you all, before I purchase something I research it to the smallest details to know if I am buying the right thing.

Here I came to a stop, I can not decide between the G2 and the N5. Both seem to be great devices, almost the same but with many small differences. Also real life usage is something totally different that specs. I do not want to post this question on a smartphone related forum because of those childish “flame wars” between the owners of the devices so I can not see where the truth is. I guess you know what I mean 

I should also mention that where I live the price of both devices is the same (maybe 20€ difference what I consider to be nothing in this price range).

I like to tinker around with my phone time to time, but mostly I am a casual user, having a lot of phone calls per day and I need my phone to be ready for me to use it, be reliable, have plenty of useful functions and ease of use and quick operation.

Do you own one of these phones? Can you recommend me one?
