I’ve recently had a lot of disposable time and income, and I’ve taken to pimping out my old Toshiba netbook. I got it a few years ago, and it was running as well as a netbook will, but I’m considering buying a new one. I’ve also been taking it to school almost every day in my Condor E&E bag, but I have a 5.11 MOAB 6 coming tomorrow to replace it. I’m on the fence about getting a new netbook: on the one hand, it’s running better than it ever has, and I’m not even done with the upgrades. On the other hand… new computer. I’m also curious to see how many people actually carry a small laptop with them– it seems like a tablet would be a better option as far as mobile computing goes, but I feel like tablets are more oriented toward personal media consumption than productivity. What say you?
