Keymasteri am using this usb-stick https://www.sandisk.com/home/usb-flash/ultra-fit and i am pretty happy. but i wanna have it close to me. ideally at all times. i dont wanna put it on my keys because i am using a shackle.
i have no space for it. besides that, i wanna protect it so it doesn’t get hit and damaged. so was looking for a titanium capsule, as small as possible, just enough space to fit it in. i can’t find any. most are too slim with around 11,5mm inner diameter or really really big. A perfect solution would be capsule small enough to carry it around my neck.
do you have any ideas? is there anyone who can make me one? i would prefer titaniumwould be great to hear your thoughts on this and see if there are any solutions already.

i do use these too. i would like to protect my usb stick against water and physical influences like it getting hit by stuff. so i would like to put it into a container. my big problem is, that these capsules are way too big or just a little bit too small.September 26, 2025 at 10:27 am #26210admin

KeymasterOP mentioned carrying via a necklace or lanyard around his neck. So my suggestion here won’t be what he wants.
However…. for a pocket or a bag, I’m a big fan of repurposing prescription ‘bottles’. Lightweight, usually with a reasonably dust proof cap.
Just thought I’d toss it out there.

KeymasterI have been carrying these EDC on a Keychain for a few years now and they have been through all forms of terror and have been flawless.
So I have to wonder why try to find something bulky when you can just carry rugged in the first place?September 26, 2025 at 10:28 am #26218admin
KeymasterI’ve been keeping my USB sticks in one of these. They are getting so small these days I can fit dang near half a terabyte in it! I’ve been using one for almost 2 years with nary an issue.

KeymasterWhat about using a USB stick which is protected already like the Flash Survivor or the black Flash Survivor Stealth from Corsair? Dimensions too big?
There was another one from LaCie – the XtremKey – but as I know it’s discontinued.September 26, 2025 at 10:29 am #26222admin

Off subject from the original post, but these look like they’d be perfect for my hearing aids when I have to take them off while away from home. Thanks.September 26, 2025 at 10:29 am #26223admin

In the meantime I got the Corsair USB-stick and I really like it. A tough case but big dimensions also. -
