This is for real. Please check it out on You Tube. Glocks use a safety that is part of the trigger. One must press this small lever, on the trigger, before the trigger will release and allow one to fire the weapon. The drawstring to the Police Chief’s coat got hung up in the trigger guard and when he pulled his coat up to get it off his holster, he pulled the trigger and fired the weapon into his leg. He was fortunate in that he was not severely injured and the place was not crowded. A sheriff’s deputy in Oregon was not as lucky. The SAME THING happened to him while he was getting out of his cruiser and he REALLY harmed his leg. Perhaps it is time for Glock to start making a manual safety that is located somewhere else on the weapon? What do YOU think?
