Trousers are in my opinion like a working pen, in so much as they’re only conspicuous by their absence.
However I bought some blackrock trousers off eBay for work

I can’t tell you how great they are.
I tend to have to replace my work trousers every month or at least every other month.
I’ve tried in reverse order of usefulness. (Worse first)
No Bull
Cat
Dickies
Scruffs
Various Jeans
L.Brador
Pulsar
BDUs
Soldier 95 (UK forces issue)
MTP (current UK forces issue)
Blackrock
They all give up in next to no time.
These blackrock jobs have all the pockets I’ll ever need 10 including 2 pen pockets they don’t have the stupid flappy pockets that get caught in everything.
In short highly recommended and at about half what a pair of L.Brador work trousers cost.
The only modification I’ve made is to remove two pieces of “Velcro” from the front pockets to speed up access.
I have no connection with this company beyond buying their products I’ve posted this review to help others in a similar position to myself.
One other thing, they are NOT flame retardant but stand up very well to a days grinding sparks all over them (3 9″ grinding discs used and no holes)
Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.
