Hi guys,

I’m interested in taking a firearms training course (starting with basic pistol training). I did some research on the courses and facilities available in my area (San Jose, CA), and found several places with several different flavors of training. Does anyone have any experience with the firearms courses offered in the Bay Area?

I have zero practical experience with firearms right now; I meant to go get the HSC last year, but haven’t done that yet either.

Also, I’m taking into consideration that I’m trying to save up to take an EMT training course at the moment, so best bang for my buck would be highly appreciated.
