Any recommendations for a good wind-meter (anemometer)? I need temperature and wind-chill readings also. A compass would be a bonus, but not necessary, as I can get a decent small compass very cheap.

So far, the best value for the money seems to be the Skywatch Explorer 2– which some vendors are selling for <$50 online. That unit seems to have a wider temperature and wind-speed assessing range than units such as the Kestrel or Brunton series. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help. opcorn:
