I see a lot of people EDC flash drives for portable data storage. I use a CF card, instead, since they are convenient for me; but I don’t see anyone else using CF cards, SD cards, etc., for EDC data storage. Why? Is there some significant disadvantage to a CF card (or SD card, or similar) for this type of use?
