I have been fairly involved in photography for the past 15 years and was looking for a new advanced point and shoot camera that specifically has an excellent macro lens feature. I currently have a Canon SD400 which has a decent macro, but is something much better with exposure especially? I was messing with a friend’s Nikon D80 with that sweet 60mm micro lens. I’d rather just like a point shoot. Can anything come close to that? I have no problem setting apeture, etc. Ideas? I know many of you have great experience in this area and would love to hear your thoughts.

By the way, I am familiar with the great digital camera sites. i am looking for specific recommendations for the macro feature. Thanks!
