There are many people who have searched for reviews on this piece of gear. This piece of mystery ranch gear is exactly what it says it is. A laptop case. More a sleeve with zippers and a carrying handle. You can call to order this piece of gear. The truly differentiating factor between this gear and others is its ability to work in tangent with the military ranch line of packs. Now, let’s look at this gear from the top.

Here it is out of the box.

Now, the back of the case:

The small rectangle that you see is a sheet of plastic that has velcro on one side and a stay on the other. This allows the sheet to maintain rigidity while you slide it behind the molle panel.

For reference purposes, I have a Dell inspiron 15.6″ (2010). Here are a few pictures of what the case looks like and how it holds my laptop.

[IMG] as you can see, the case opens 1/2 way around from one corner to the opposite.
    Here’s how it closes:

and with a little bit of tugging and smooth zipper pull:[IMG] done. And not much space to spare.

So here is what it looks like inside the pack. [IMG]

So there are some pictures for your benefit when looking at the Mystery Ranch Spade lock laptop case.

My personal opinion, at first I was a little disheartened that it was made in the Philippines. I also thought my laptop did not fit at first. But after pressing down a little more it fits snugly. The main point of the case is to keep your laptop protected within the pack without fear of scratch, damage due to dropping, and general carrying purposes because of the weight. The spade lock system keeps the laptop elevated off the bottom of the pack, so if you should set it down hard it will not be catastrophic. Which was the main reason I bought it.
The only con I see is when trying to access the pack from the radio zippers on the outside the case makes it tough to maneuver around and see what you want.
Pros are protection, carrying place, ease of installment, ease of removal, and simplicity.

Well, that’s all I have at the moment. So, Let me know if there is anything you want me to clear up.
