Though I’ve just bought H4 Kato a few weeks ago, I lost my mind and ordered yet another small messenger: Tom Bihn’s Ristretto for iPad.

When I placed the order, I was confident that I wouldn’t regret it, because I own Aeronaut which is one of the best travel bags I’ve ever encountered. As expected, the craftsmanship of Ristretto is uber excellent. The quality and sense of satisfaction are on par with GR1.
I chose Steel Cordura outer fablic with Red Dyneema lining. Love this color scheme.

Side by side comparison with Kato. Their dimensions look similar in this photo, but Ristretto is thinner so its volume is probably 15~20% smaller than Kato. Also Ristretto only provides minimum organizer space, when compared to Kato’s barrage of organization capability.

I’m gonna use both of them for a while and will decide which one suits best for my everyday carry.
I won’t provide in-depth review of Ristretto here because you can find tons of excellent reviews on the web. However, if you have any questions please let me know.
