İ waited a bit too do this, just to really test it out and see what I do/don’t like about it.

I got the cover from Tactical Notebook Covers (obviously) after a short phone call to mark about what I wanted, he suggested this as it was ready to ship and would be cheaper than a custom one.

Anyway, what is it? It is a cover designed for a ipad mini.

It has a total of 7 pockets that I can count. On the front it has 3 pockets, one is directly on the flap which houses my ear phones

Pocket under the flap is for a id card, which I have no use for… Yet

And below the flap is the main front pocket with pen holders, I put my maxmadco pen and stylus in with a usb cable for the tablet

Opening it up you are presented with the tablet and 3 more pockets

2 on the left only carry a led cloth

And under them is my kindle paperwhite

As you can see I went against the grain and stuck a nexus 7 into it, the nexus is smaller than the ipad mini having a inch space around the device. It is attached via Velcro which has its ups and downs, which I’ll go into soon.

Moving onto the back it has one final pocket which i can easily fit the tablet in, but I put in a notebook

On to the construction, I find it well made with little imperfections, the only thing I could find was that the pen holders are different sizes

Which more works in its favour to fit different size pens, but most of my pens are to small for most of the holes.

The zips are great, and the zipper pulls are well made and make opening it smooth and easy

The handle is a neat feature which I really like, it looks sturdy and I doubt it will come off

Now the only part I dislike about it is the places to attach patches. I’ve never been into patches so I don’t really care if something had it or not, but there is a spot for a patch where I dislike it’s location. When ever I take out the tablet and close the cover the Velcro attaches itself to the place for the patch

This does get annoying, and I am considering getting a patch just for this.

The parts I do like is everything lol. The Velcro on the tablet is awesome, as I find my self taking it out all the time. I pulled apart a cheap cover I had and stuck the Velcro provided to it

It’s not pretty from behind but it works. So would I recommend this to someone? Yes. Would I buy one again? Yes.
