I always like looking at the pocket organizers and all the fun things that go in them. I’ve always wanted one but just couldn’t figure out exactly how I wanted to carry it around and I have always been content with my MT, knife, light basic combo in my pockets/belt. But I was gifted this bag and I ride my bike to work in the warmer moths, so because this bag really has no organization and I’m carrying a bag anyway, I figured it was time to find something to put in it to keep track of the little things. Anyway, I wanted something different and after searching it looks like there isn’t anything. I was in a local hardware store and came across this Dewalt pouch. They call it the DG5104 Accessory Pouch. I am wanting to put in some kind of basic FAK and maybe some essential bike repair stuff but so far I really haven’t had time to sort it all out and add stuff. It’s very roomy, though honestly there isn’t a ton of organization like the typical pocket organizers. For me it’s sufficient – there are 3 tube pockets inside and a couple more on the outside. The open space though is probably appropriate for a little FAK or I’m hoping a spare tube or a CO2 inflator for my bike. It’s Chinese but really nicely made from hefty material. It feels substantial.

I think the bag is called the Kompressor Plus. It’s weightless and simple but still has the essentials for hiking or biking or whatever and as an added bonus the Dewalt pouch kinda matches. The pouch rides in the lid pocket.

I can put my fist in this pocket on the front plus some. It expands huge

Even this front zip pocket has a fold so that it can be opened up.

The middle tube pocket here fits my largest AA light, the Crelant V11A. Out of curiosity I put my Solarforce L2 in and it fits perfectly – the entire light with the pouch zipped. You could easily fit 2 pens in each of the other tubes – maybe 3.

It’ll clip on or slide on. The loop fits a 2 inch belt. ETA: It’s clear that the clip is a complete fail. There isn’t enough room to accommodate a typical belt and if you do get it on your belt it really has no feature to hold it on and in place. Now if I could get them to send me all their unwanted clips so that I could re-purpose them into money clips, we’d be getting somewhere. It actually seems like these were money clips or something similar in a past life because they have more flex than you’d expect from a belt clip and overall just don’t look like something that an actual human being designed on a piece of paper to attach something to a belt. No one ever sat down and said, I’m going to design a belt clip and it will look like this.

It’s not a “pocket” organizer but it’s not huge.

This Dewalt Accessory Pouch is a pretty good size for carrying something more like a kit of some kind because it’s ready to house two larger items in addition to smaller things. It’s pretty compact relative to its capacity, discrete and you may not have to put “small” versions of things in it. The extra mounting options might make it handy for some who want to carry it in a bag, but grab it and go when it’s needed.
