My wife was so sweet. She saw me admiring the Maratac Large Pilots watch from countycomm, and got it for me for Christmas.

What she didn’t know was that I was admiring it for the beauty of it…. not for the purchase of it.

I can’t afford such a luxury, but after contacting them I discovered a 10% re-stocking fee. Combine that with shipping both ways, and I’m out over $50 just to return it.

I pleaded with them to waive the 10% re-stocking fee on a $289 item, and they refused… twice.

Ugh.

I haven’t decided which way to go yet: return it for a loss, or hold onto it and see where the value goes.
