    Hi EDCF,

So my newly purchased Resco Red Circle GMT (only had it 4 days) is malfunctioning. The GMT Hand apparently is running about 15 min quick when the minute hand is at the 45 min position. Then when I move the minute hand up 15 min to the 12hr mark, the GMT hand jumps ahead and skips a time zone. The pictures will do a better job at describing this.

here is the first image. The outer gray numbers correspond to the GMT time which I have set 6 hrs ahead of my present location. So right now the main watch reads 1740 but the GMT hand has already jumped to 0000 when really it should still be at the 2300 position.

Upon reaching the 1800 position, the GMT hand reads 0100 when it should be reading 0000.

And again, when the time at my current location is 1948, the GMT hand is already reading 0200 when it should still be 0100.

I’ve already contacted Resco (spoke to them on 05/14). There wasn’t a resolution about this and I have yet to hear anything from the watch maker plus there has been a lag in customer service communication so that is a bit frustrating. I’ll post my experience with them here on this log.

    Thanks for the advice.
