So I have a CountyComm Embassy pen that I’ve been carrying for a while, I don’t use it particularly often but it does save my butt on occasion and for that it’s worth it. Anyway I’m happy with everything about it except the amazing Fisher ink cartridges. So far I’ve had two of them purchased from completely different locations at different times and they both have the exact same problems. Firstly; they leak, and when I say leak, I mean a lot. Whenever I get the pen out the end is always covered in ink. Secondly: I can rarely get through writing one word without it skipping a half a letter or more, which then requires me to go back and redo. As you can imagine this is incredibly frustrating. Could I really have gotten two “flukes”, both having exactly the same problems? Should I give a Fisher a third try or move on to a different brand? Keep in mind I am not a connoisseur of fine writing implements, I just want a simple tool I can use to take notes.
