    Hey Guys,
Still a relative noob on this forum, but I’ve been honing my EDC for years.

So, I’ve long been on a quest for my perfect pen. Well, a quest for my perfect everything really, but right now I’m looking for a pen. 😉 I’m an engineer, so I love needle points, and I’ve recently discovered the Pilot Hi-tec-C / G-tec-C (domestic market name) pens. I don’t think I can carry a plastic pen every day, I just don’t like the feel, so I need some advice on the best body for these refills.

Background: I used to use the Uniball rollerball disposable micro point pens all the time. Love the way they write. Eventually, I decided I needed a nice pen, so I picked up a Rotring 600 (non-knurled) rollerball. Loved the weight of the pen, but Eventually I got tired of it and I was afraid I was wearing out the cap retention, so I moved on to a Stainless Embassy pen. While I love the feel of the pen, it’s a bit heavy for me to use for long periods and I just can’t stand the fisher refills. I need a rollerball at least! I still carry this one every day, but I’ll probably sell it to fund what comes next.

I’m looking for something with some weight (along the same weight of the Rotring 600 would be great), must have a pocket clip, and take the hi-tec-c refills. It would be super sweet if I could get it for less than $70.

Tops of my list right now are:

Render K (brass or Al, not sure)
    Ti2Pen

well, that’s pretty much it, what else is out there guys?!
