Hey all,

I have a Zebra F-701 that I’ve had for a couple years now. I really like the size, weight, and smoothness of the pen, but it’s developed a little problem and I wanted to know if anyone else has encountered it and might possibly have a solution.

When I click the pen out to use, it works just fine, but as soon as I press the tip to a piece of paper, the cartridge moves rearward. It doesn’t go all the way back in, but it pops back maybe 1mm. I know it isn’t a huge problem, but I hate to replace the pen for some small annoyance like this. A guy I work with has a 701 that has the same issue. It basically causes the first part of the first letter you write to look very sloppy.

Anyone else have this issue? Thanks for any help you can offer!
