Once upon a time a young boy named Gustavo-myself, and a old man called João. Mister João its a old man with a decease that give him difficulty to express by the talk, but as a wonderful person hi ever stop to talk with mister john, its a old friend of family. Every day i try to understand what mister joão, says, and he always asked me for my family , if they are fine, the years pass and the little bay grow up, and went to the army, as a family of navy mens ,hi whent to do army, ranked at the post sergeant, and always i came home i see mister João, and always pass the same thing.
The years pass and i leave the army life and whent to the police, and as a police officer i never know the real past of mister João, but always talked with the same way with the same question he made to me.
Sadness Mister João died, and past several years, i meet with mister João wife, that tell he had a great respect for me because i~m the only kid,boy, and man who had always time to try to understand what he asked, and with the years grow a feeling for me like a grandson.
Mister João wife, some day come trought me and made me an offer, she give a little box.
Inside this little box theres three pens, the pens that mister João used for years in is life in the line of duty as a police officer. I never know before what has the job of mister João, but in that moment i cry, because it has the sign that hi choose the better job hi can choose in the entire life, and learned a great lesson, allways have time to the others, special to the olders, never know the past of them and the stories they have to tell.
Never heard any storie from Mister João, but hi received something the maoney can´t buy- respect and love.
