Lately I’ve been wanting to get a mechanical pencil, and discovered the rotring line.

My main issue with the design is the pointy bottom end of the pencil. Is it as fragile as it looks? won’t it stab my pocket full of holes and/or break?

I’d thought of getting the 800 with the retractable end, but I’m not mentally ready to spend 70$+ on a pen… yet.
