Looking to add a pen to my EDC rotation and am considering these three. The Prometheus Alpha in EN coated aluminum is the one I’m considering due to price. The Ian Schon Pen will be the most affordable by far with the TiBolt and Prometheus comparably priced with each other.

One thing I’m wanting to find out is how do the cartridges write in comparison to each other. Prometheus uses the MontBlanc Fineliner, and I believe the Rollerball will also work which would probably be what I would opt for. The TiBolt uses a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000, and the Schon Pen uses a Fisher Space cartridge. Can someone enlighten me on the differences in cartridges to help me make a decision.

I personally favor the Prometheus Alpha overall, I like the size of the Ian Schon and the short thread length to unscrew the cap but dislike the lack of a pocket clip, and the TiBolt is well, just cool as can be and looks to be alot of fun to play around with. I have also looked at the Hinderer Investigator Cu which takes a Fisher Space cartridge. Thanks for your assistance and advice.
