So I’ve been looking around for a pocket-able cover for my Field Notes notebooks (and didn’t want to spend $100 bucks). I was hoping for something in leather. I remembered I had decommissioned a leather Day-Timer wallet many moons ago, and I set out to find it. It was a nice book and I wondered if it would work. I wanted something which would hold my Field Notes, but also serve double duty to hold some other items like index cards, business cards and miscellaneous scraps of stuff I always seem to have.

Well, I found it, tried it out and I think it’s going to work out just great!

I love it when I can figure out how to repurpose something and make it useful!
