To those of you maxmadco users, which refills are you using?

The Itoya refill that came with it is nice, but they run out FAST and the ink takes a really long time to dry: it smears and even leaves dots on the opposing page where the ink fails to fully dry.

Re: Fisher. Have any of you had luck with this refill? I find the fishers do *NOT* fit. I contacted Jim, he explained that it’s a manufacturing defect/inconsistency with fisher, but neither of my refills come close to fitting. However, per Jim’s suggestion, I did sand one of the one of them to narrow it such that it is able to exit the pen. It now works perfectly, but kind of a nuisance to do this each time.

I’ve also been using the parker ballpoint gel refills. These write nicely and dry much faster than the Itoya. Unfortunately, I find that these make an annoying (although probably unnoticeable to most) sound when I fully depress the pin. I think it has to do with an inconsistency between the tip and body of the refill as it moves in and out of the pen.
