I always see these Traveler’s Notebooks, and then I see the price! Not to mention, I wanted to hold 4 Moleskin Cahier and an Ecosystem Journal… So about 1.25″ of notebook storage. What to do, what to do? Make one!

I have some Horween Chromexel leather lying around from a batch I got online. This is the stuff they make high end wallets and shoes out of. Might as well have a fancy-ish notebook cover.

A box cutter, leather punch, awl, shock cord, beads, and a button later… And I got this:

Note: Even finished the edges!

And now to watch it age, hopefully nicely, with age!
