Keymasteri never really cared too much about pens. if i have one, i would use it.. if not i’ll borrow one. but lately, i’m thinking it would be whole lot easier if i have one. been typing since i was 7th grade back in 82.. so i type as fast as writing, and never really missed writing much. but i noticed that my bad penmanship is even getting worse now days. beside, i grow ton of fig trees for hobby and it would be nice to keep some sort of journal on them. i would rather write down on paper then type them into the computer.
looking about Hinderer Copper Investigator or Ti Embassy Pen from CountyComm looks will fit the bill. they are totally different size, but they both use Fisher Space Pen refills.
i would like copper.. but copper Embassy Pen is too expensive. Investigator is copper and doesn’t look too bad, but it’s rather small. i have med hand to small hand.
Embassy Pen in Ti is really nice, but they might weight down too much.
i’m looking to carry them in person, in pocket. i don’t carry man purse, or bag with me. everything is in my work bag, or in my car. only thing i carry with me at all time are in my pocket.
i understand that Embassy Pen (EP) is strong enough there won’t be any issue just putting it in the back pocket. at the same time, Hinderer Investigator (HI) is small enough i can put them in the front pocket.
HI is readily available anywhere. EP is back ordered.. can’t make up my mind. what is your suggestions?
