So, I just got a Folts Minimalist (CRKT, the blackwash drop point version with G10 scales) and it comes with an acceptable molded sheath.

The issue I’m having is that I got this to use as a last ditch / retention fixed knife for my offhand. I want to carry it on my belt horizontally. Yes, the include belt loop (plastic or kydex, not sure) does screw on so that you can carry the knife in that orientation, but I have two problems:

1) I wear Aker Concealed carry belts that are 1.5″ belts, but they are very thick because they are made with 2 layers of leather and a strip of kydex in between them for extra rigidity. This is great for any kind of holster to grab on to. The included belt loop isn’t large enough to get the belt through it at the thicker portion (75% of the belt).

2) This is a hard closed loop. If it was a snap loop, that might work, but a strong titanium clip – maybe like on the SOG Snarl case – might work better for me.

Does anyone know of any after market clips that would work on this case? I’m on Amazon prime, if that helps.
