In light of the tragedy that has befallen the town of Newtown here in CT as well as the mall shooting in Oregon, I am considering broaching the subject of getting a CCW permit and pistol with my wife who is firmly against them. We have two very precious daughters and this is a different world than it was 20 years ago. I’m not sure the best way to approach her about it in a way that wouldn’t scare her.
