I didnt post this in the handgun/self defense forum, b/c it is not constructive, its just a rant.
(although a mod apparently did)

“Just rack the shotgun, the *insert boogie man here* will  his pants and run. No matter what.”

I’ve heard this or a variation of this in gun-shops, gun-shows, ranges, and on every single forum I belong to.

Seriously, why would any one advocate this?
Storing your shotgun cruiser ready is one thing, but to advocate a sound as a method of defense is just moronic.

Just don’t do it.
