Anyone else excited about the new tiny piece from Sig? I figured if the XDs gets it own thread, we should have one discussing this little beauty from SHOT 2012.

I liked the form factor of the P238 when I first saw it, but wasn’t so enthused by the chambering. The P938 looks like a nice option for, say, summer months when concealment options are at a premium. Concealment and comfort are definitely the side that this gun is erring towards. The round count is diminutive though far from inadequate. I do like the options of a +1 extended mag, mostly for the extra grip (maybe a +2 mag would have made more sense). Hopefully it can convert into an actual three-finger grip with that. It’s not the lightest subcompact 9mm; I’ll wait to see what the reports are on controllability in firing.

Caveat Lector. I possess minimal first-hand experience with any gun-handling. All my opinions are those of an armchair commando. ;D
