I had an S30V blade for Christmas for my Wave so now I have the S30V and the original 420 blade installed, having removed the serrated blade which I have no real use for.
However, I got to thinking that I could really do wih an awl/Marlin spike type tool and figured out several options but I’m not sure which is the most practical and could do with some advice.
First option, was to get a hold of another tool’s scissors and awl and install the new scissor(larger) where the 420 blade is and install a ready made awl where the stock scissors currently are.
However, I then figured I could install an awl where the 420 blade is, since the space is larger and only one new accessory would have to be installed. Therefore, I’m thinking of either finding an awl that fits this blade space or I take a scrap blade, or my serrated blade, and grind it down.
I think I prefer the second option, any opinions?
