I was in Wally World yesterday getting some necessities and naturally I strolled by the sporting goods department. Imagine my surprise when I found them have multiple AR-15 offerings for sale in the gun cases, which have just recently found their way back into some or all stores.

They had both Sig Sauer (SigArms) and DPMS rifles. The DPMS was an A4 configuration with picatinny gas block for $598!!. The Sig as a MOE A4 for $998.

I’ve been toying with the idea of building my ideal K.I.S.S. carbine and now I’m wondering if it wouldn’t be smarter to just buy something like this and add a few personal touches. I think I’m going to price out some parts. I’ll post my list when It’s together. Also, I do not know the particulars of the DPMS at Wal-mart.
