    HISTORY
After reading a review of these holsters and going through a four month ordeal with a local holster builder, I decided to send PSS an email. What really sold me was their relatively short wait time. I opted for the coyote brown kydex holster with a foward cant.

    ORDERING
PSS takes Paypal… as if I needed any more of a reason to order, and if your holster takes longer than their projected timeline they refund your shipping. I used their online ordering system, and initially ordered my holster with no cant. I emailed Stephen at PSS with some concerns about fit, and after discussing it with him we decided that the forward cant would be a much better option for me.

He asked for my measurements (something I’ve never considered), and I went about my life.

    INITIAL IMPRESSIONS

I’m going to be honest here. The holster was built wrong. Not completely wrong…it was built without the forward cant. To be fair, it took less than a month to receive, and in looking at my correspondence with PSS I could have been clearer in my emails. The holster was built to spec according to my initial order, it had clean cuts, finished edges (almost polished) and extra firm retention. The PSS holster made my locally built holster look like an unpolished turd. With that, I emailed PSS about remedying the situation and they resolved it without giving it a second thought. My new holster was built just as well.

    FIT

It fits… and fits extremely well. The kydex is formed perfectly to my handgun, almost down to the laser engraved S&W logo. The belt loops were actually formed at an angle to fit the contour of a human body, and the loop material was thicker than the holster material, a nice detail that should add to the life of this holster.

    CONS

From what I can see… NONE. This is an excellent quality holster.

    SUGGESTIONS and FINAL COMMENTS

I would like to see PSS offer a more pronounced forward cant. Perhaps test an “open barrel” version or appendix carry holster to reduce the bulk of a full kydex holster.. however apple computers didn’t become an industry giant by offering one of everything. PSS makes Excellent Quality Kydex Holsters at a reasonable price without the wait. I would buy from them again, and if the need ever arises.. I probably will. Make sure to check out their tuckable kydex belt loops, and other accessories. And if you have any questions… feel free to contact me, or just email the man himself at PSS.
