Hey everyone! I recently acquired a Buck Marksman 830 which I am loving so far. The one thing I’m really not a fan of is how the clip rests right on a ridge cut into the scale which causing fabric to bunch up when trying to pull the knife out of my pocket. It makes removal from the pocket quite difficult, even clipping it on the pocket is made difficult because of this. I would like to bend the clip laterally a bit so that it rests on the flat part of the scale adjacent to where it currently sits:

The clip is easily removed and I have a bench vise which I’ll likely need but I’m wondering if it’s really even possible to bend the clip this direction? Will I need to heat the clip maybe? If I can get the clip to rest on the flat portion of the scale I’ll be so psyched!
Any suggestions for how to do this?
