Trying to toss up between an E01 and an LD01, kind of impressed by what I’ve read about the E01’s runtime, but the purple light looks like it would get rather annoying. Also not sure how the brightness is?

I would mainly use it for fishing, I do most of my fishing at night and a lot of the times in spots with no light at all, currently I’m using cheap K-mart (walmart equiv here in Aus) headlamps that cost me $5, but they are uncomfortable, a bit chunky, and take 3 AAA’s, not to mention close to no water resistance.

Was thinking of picking up an actual headlamp instead but have decided to go with one of the two Fenix’s + some sort of Jakstrap or Nite-Ize headband – purely for versatility so I can use them as reg. flashlights when I’m not fishing.
