I have a aluminium sunwayman v10r IMHO best torch out there for the money,

My girlfriend bought me a nitecore intelligent charger for Christmas and 2 of these batts http://www.flashaholics.co.uk/batteries/nitecore-16340-rcr123.html

I don’t know much about battery’s and if they fit then that’s good enough for me. However I was using my torch down an alley and it cut out for no reason so I tried it again and it kept cutting out, so when I got home by the light of my iPhone app(I know 2 is 1 right?) I swapped out the batts for my old faithful cr123 that’s never let me down. The torch appears unaffected and my guess is the cut out was a safety feature on the torch. I must add that I have already used the torch with the 16340 on high a number of occasions prior to this incident.

So after looking I notice that they are not listed as rc123 but 16340’s

Could somebody please shed some light on this, I have never really had the whole volts amps etc explained.
