Ok, so I’m looking for a new flashlight to compliment my flood lights.
Ideally I would like a Surefire EB1 or E1B with a AA. I am open to considering a 2xAA but greatly prefer single AA. I am familiar with many of the flashlights out there but thought maybe I am missing some of the new models. Any advice on which Cree LED I should be looking for would be helpful as well.

Another important thing for me is regulation. I prefer a light that is bright until it is ready to go out.

Also, something that can take 14500 or other lithiums are a bonus but not a requirement.

[X] I will be mail-ordering or buying online, so this doesn’t matter.

    [X] $40-60
    [X] $80-$120

    [X] I want a flashlight.

    [X] 2-4 inches. (Pocket carry)

[X] LED – more rugged, unlikely to burn out in your lifetime, less accurate color rendition, in

[X] I want common Alkaline batteries. (AA, AAA, C, D)

[X] I want to light an entire campground or dazzle an intruder. (100+ lumens)

    13) Operational Modes: Check all that apply.
I prefer 2 modes at least and no strobe function. I am willing to budge on this though if the UI is decent.
