So I’ve been EDC’ing the Piranha for a while now, without finding much use of it (I am a JASG – just another software guy). Missus today wanted to scrap a coconut, and none of her techniques – kitchen knives, or heating worked. I realized – hey, the Piranha has a “scraper” which may be of use. So I got it out, and started on the half portion of the shell.
The scraper end is just right sharp for scraping the tender coconut, and I could easily take off chunks. Rotating motion, scraping, and after some time the first shell was done. The second shell was tackled similarly, and missus was very happy. Meanwhile, I noticed the driver bits, and the lanyard got in the way of this hard job, so took them off. This was the first real-world use of Piranha, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Hope you enjoy the photos as well…
Piranha, ready to rock…
