Hey all, after years of obsessing over EDC type issues (without knowing the term) I have happened upon this wonderful forum and wanted to share an idea of mine with you all.

I would love input on the concept and ESPECIALLY love if someone who had some actual graphic design or machining experience to chime in.

The idea I had was that the point of attachment for the paracord bracelets that many of us wear is an untapped resource as a point of carry for another tool.

I have a rough idea in my head of what such a tool would look like. Roughly a splice between a Nitize Figure 9 rope tensioner and a folding carabiner off of a Leatherman pocket knife.

The thought for the tool originally derived out of the idea of actually using a small Figure 9 as a clasp for a bracelet but realizing it was far too large and in fact limited in use. The design I have scratched together incorporates some more uses (knotless rope tensioner, screwdriver, bottle opener, impromptu grappling hook for key rescue ect).

The arms of the tensioner are intended to go through the initial two holes of a paracord bracelet that many may be familiar with and the carabiner would simply clip onto the finished loop at the other end.

I’m including some truly terrible MS Paint art to at least give the idea of what I am talking about.

Let me know what you guys think or input you have!
